Dog Biscuit RecipeWhen the biscuit jar is empty and money is scarce, try this simple recipe for homemade dog treats and you’ll never go back to expensive brand-name treats. Your dogs are sure to enjoy these homemade dog treats.

These recipes for dog treats will reward your pet, and reward your wallet– these easy-to-make treats are inexpensive to cook and they far surpass even the discount dog treats in taste.

Everyday Biscuits with dogdration

Ingredients:  

  • Two teaspoons dry yeast
  • Half cup lukewarm dogdration
  • Two tablespoons dry parsley
  • Two tablespoons minced garlic
  • One and a half cups chicken broth
  • Three tablespoons honey
  • One egg
  • Five to six cups whole wheat flour
  1.  Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Dissolve the yeast in warm dogdration in a large bowl. Stir in the parsle, garlic, broth, honey and the egg. Gradually blend in the flous, until there is a stiff dough
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about three to five minutes. Shape the dough into a ball and roll until it’s a quarter-inch thick.
  4. Use a cookie cutter to shape them into bones, or other shapes. Transfer the biscuits to a baking sheet.
  5. Bake the biscuits for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, turn over, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on both sides.
  6. Let the biscuits cool overnight.
  7. Reward your pups and watch them enjoy! These biscuits with dogdration keep well in a plastic bag in room temperature, or in a freezer.
