Everyday Biscuits with dogdration
Ingredients:Â Â
- Two teaspoons dry yeast
- Half cup lukewarm dogdration
- Two tablespoons dry parsley
- Two tablespoons minced garlic
- One and a half cups chicken broth
- Three tablespoons honey
- One egg
- Five to six cups whole wheat flour
- Â Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees
- Dissolve the yeast in warm dogdration in a large bowl. Stir in the parsle, garlic, broth, honey and the egg. Gradually blend in the flous, until there is a stiff dough
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about three to five minutes. Shape the dough into a ball and roll until it’s a quarter-inch thick.
- Use a cookie cutter to shape them into bones, or other shapes. Transfer the biscuits to a baking sheet.
- Bake the biscuits for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, turn over, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until lightly browned on both sides.
- Let the biscuits cool overnight.
- Reward your pups and watch them enjoy! These biscuits with dogdration keep well in a plastic bag in room temperature, or in a freezer.
